Firstly, the sealing performance of the product is not a problem of a single product. It is composed of multiple components. All the parts that directly contact the sealing surface of the product, no matter which product has a problem, may lead to the failure of sealing. For a simple example, most sealing parts are structured with an upper shell, a lower shell, and an intermediate silicone rubber sealing ring/sealing pad. If the surface of the upper or lower shell carrier is not smooth, or the gap is too large, or the pressure variation is unreasonable, it may cause the problem to occur. The deeper reason is the design issue, including the design of the product, the design of the mold, the design of the material, and so on.
Excluding these external factors, let's now discuss the reasons related to the silicone rubber product sealing ring itself. Firstly, the material itself needs to be selected based on the specific usage environment of the product, such as the product's operating temperature, the substances it comes into contact with, etc. Secondly, the appearance and size of the product manufacturing process must meet the design requirements, including edge trimming, size tolerance, etc.
