The paper feeding wheel is also called a paper roller or roller. In the industry, such products are collectively referred to as rubber roller products, and they have been widely applied in various fields such as office equipment, printing, textile, industrial machinery, etc. What we are going to talk about today is a silicone paper roller applied in printers, which also belongs to the category of rubber rollers.

Depending on the usage environment, these products use a wide variety of materials. Common ones include natural rubber rollers, nitrile rubber rollers, chloroprene rubber rollers, butyl rubber rollers, and silicone rubber rollers. The silicone rubber rollers used in printers are also among these. After years of development, the manufacturing process of this product has become very mature. Firstly, from the product structure perspective, there are two methods. One is to first form the silicone part, and then combine it with plastic parts or metal parts. This process is simple and has relatively lower costs. The other is to directly place the metal rod in the mold and form it together with the silicone rubber material. This process has a higher mold cost, and before the metal part is placed in the mold for forming, it must undergo surface treatment. Additionally, a special vulcanized glue must be applied to the interface between the metal part and the silicone to ensure that the silicone part and the metal part are fully bonded and do not come off after the molding.
